Dr. Malja N. Beauchamp, DTCM, R.Ac is a highly skilled Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (DTCM) and Registered Acupuncturist with a specialized focus on women’s health; with in depth knowledge on infertility and metabolic disorders such as diabetes. With years of clinical experience, she is committed to bridging the gap between ancient healing traditions and modern medical science to provide comprehensive, natural healthcare solutions. At the core of her practice is a deep passion for empowering individuals to take control of their health. She believes that true wellness comes from understanding and supporting the body’s natural rhythms, and she works closely with her patients to create personalized treatment plans that restore balance, optimize fertility, and improve overall vitality.
Dr. Malja’s passion for health started at a young age. After high school, she studied Wholistic Training Health Institute of Massage Therapy in Edmonton, graduating in 2016. Furthering her education in natural health, she enrolled at The Calgary College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture in Calgary, Alberta. This began her journey of studying Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupuncture techniques such as cupping, guasha, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, and herbology. After graduating with diplomas in massage therapy, acupuncture and a doctorate in Chinese Medicine in 2021, she relocated back to Fort McMurray to provide holistic care for her community.
Malja’s expertise extends beyond acupuncture—she integrates herbal medicine, nutritional therapy, and lifestyle coaching to address the root causes of health concerns rather than just treating symptoms. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based strategies, ensuring that her patients receive the best of both traditional and modern healing methods.

My route thus far has been a 'jack of all trades, but master of none'; I am always looking for new ways to learn and new ways to help all who step into my treatment room.
It's exciting to watch the progress of my clients as they take back their health. I look forward to all the new faces and challenges that Sitka has to offer.”

FITNESS INSTRUCTORS
MEGAN JOHNSON
Born & raised in Fort McMurrray, Megan has spent the majority of her life here. After a few attempts at the city life, she decided to plant her roots in her home town after having her son, Westyn, in 2016.
Her love of fitness started way back in 2009 when she hired her first trainer, from there her dedication to the gym flowed into group fitness classes - where she found herself obtaining a Fitness Instructor Specialist Certification in 2016 through CanFitPro when Westyn was just five months old. From there the passion continued to grow! She officially started teaching group fitness classes in January 2017 and has continued to do so between balancing a full time job, her son, two beautiful bonus kids, the funny farm of pets & her soon to be husband.
Group fitness is where she gets her bucket filled - from the high energy every member brings to the networking and personal side of meeting different people, Megan will continue to share a safe space for everybody to exercise in - from barre to bootcamps.
But if she’s not coaching or teaching, she’s practising cheer routines with her adult rec team, out on the golf course with Andrew or simply laying in bed playing fortnite.
She’s looking forward to seeing new and old faces! Let’s get sweaty!
